To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and highly organised Product Manager for our successful touring production “Die Nacht der Musicals”. You take on the organisational and operational management of 40–50 shows and act as the central interface between venues, artists, tour management, technical production, marketing and management.
Your tasks
- Coordination and organisational management of 40–50 shows per tour
- Booking venues as well as handling and managing the corresponding contracts
- Sending and coordinating technical riders with the technical production
- Creating, managing and coordinating artist contracts
- Booking and coordinating artist travel and accommodation
- Close coordination with tour management and company management
- Planning, booking and coordinating local advertising (posters, newspaper ads)
- Coordinating editorial opportunities with monthly, daily and weekly newspapers
- Building and maintaining contacts with cultural officers, cultural offices, city managements and event partners
- Reviewing cultural calendars, cooperation options and funding with cities and municipalities
- Coordinating local social media activities together with the social media manager
- Managing and monitoring deadlines, timings and processes
- Interface management between production, artists, venues, media partners and service providers
- General back-office tasks and administrative project handling
- Occasional travel to appointments and venues
- Supporting the monitoring of local activities, processes and event-related budgets
Your profile
- Experience in the event, touring, cultural or live-entertainment sector is an advantage
- Excellent organisational skills and a structured, independent way of working
- Strong communication skills and confident manner when dealing with artists, venue partners, authorities and media
- Experience coordinating several projects and contacts at the same time
- A high degree of self-reliance, flexibility and resilience
- A solution-oriented, pragmatic way of working
- Good knowledge of common office applications
- An interest in theatre, music and live entertainment
- Willingness to travel; a category B driving licence is an advantage
