Catherin de los Santos
The Munich-based performer, of half-German and half-Filipino heritage, grew up in the Black Forest–Baar district. She completed her training as a musical performer in Freiburg im Breisgau and received her diploma in 2010. Even during her training she reached the semi-finals of the German Singing Competition in the musical/show category. Her repertoire includes “Jeannie” in the cult musical Hair, “Tiger Lily” in Peter Pan, “Kantorka” in Krabat and “Mowgli” in The Jungle Book. She was a soloist on the AIDA club ships and the Phoenix fleet, where she also presented her own solo programmes. She has performed in Showtime – Die Musicalgala at the Kammertheater Karlsruhe and was engaged by the “Palazzo Colombino” in Basel and the “Teatro” in Munich and Linz. Europa-Park Rust also engaged her for various theatre and show formats. Alongside her engagements, Catherin performs with her band SANDHOFEN, including at the Munich Oktoberfest. At the Comödie Fürth and the Bad Kissingen festival she played “Frou-Frou” in Lehár’s operetta The Merry Widow. At the Neuschwanstein Festival Hall she was seen as a cover in Ralph Siegel’s Ein bisschen Frieden and as the “2nd Lady” in Frank Nimsgern’s new Magic Flute. Since 2019 Catherin has been a permanent part of the Die Nacht der Musicals cast and is looking forward to another season.
