Katrin Mayer

After graduating from the musical and drama school in Freiburg and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, the Black Forest native has performed across Europe in numerous productions. She has interpreted lead roles in musicals such as Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita and Fiddler on the Roof, and was a soloist at the Teatro Colombino and with Musical Gaumenschmaus. She has also appeared in opera and operetta, including in Martha, The White Horse Inn, The Merry Widow and La belle Hélène. With her solo programme she has performed on the ZDF “Traumschiff” MS Amadea, with Avalon Waterways and at various galas. During her time in New York she appeared in several films and was part of the tap ensemble at the Duke Theatre on 42nd Street. Katrin’s repertoire spans musical, operetta, opera, jazz, pop and chanson. She has been with Die Nacht der Musicals for over ten years as a classical soprano and, as dance captain, is responsible for rehearsing the show.
