Istvan Csiszar

Istvan Csiszar was born in Hungary. He has been on stage for 25 years and, right after his musical training, was engaged for the roles of both Jesus and Judas in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Leading roles followed in West Side Story, Rent, Fame and Beauty and the Beast in major musical productions in both Europe and the USA. At the age of 22 Istvan directed his first stage production. In 2022 he won first prize on the TV show “Hungary Seeks the Superstar”. Most recently he played Javert in Les Misérables.
