Merle Saskia

Vienna-born soprano Merle Saskia studied opera singing at the Vienna Conservatory with distinction and musical theatre at the Performing Art Studios. International operetta and musical engagements have taken her to Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Turkey, Albania and the Netherlands. She has appeared in, among others: My Fair Lady, Evita, Hello Dolly, Sweeney Todd, The Magic Flute, The Count of Luxembourg, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Die Nacht der Musicals (European tour), Gigi and many more. As an actress Merle Saskia was also seen in the lead role of “Marie Heink” in Das Konzert. In 2022 she appeared as Melanie Galattis in Der Unbestechliche at the Kongresstheater Bad Ischl, and in 2024 she takes part in Der Bauer als Millionär.
