
Kathy Savannah Krause
The German-American singer studied in Hamburg and New York. She won live on German TV (Sat.1) with her interpretation of “Time to Say Goodbye” and was part of the German premiere cast of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph” before touring internationally with “Rock meets Musical” (including as Grizabella in Cats). She performed Christine (The Phantom of the Opera) in concert in five languages, including in Las Vegas. With cult rocker Udo Lindenberg she rocked the Philharmonie Essen. With her multilingual repertoire the soprano has sung at renowned houses such as the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. Composer F. Nimsgern cast her for the ARD television recording of his musical hit “Snowhite”, where she played the title role on stage and on camera. As patron of the German Child Protection Association she sings its official anthem. Kathy has been a guest with “Die Nacht der Musicals” since 2014 and can be heard as a lead vocalist on various cast albums. She also teaches singing and bilingual phonetics at the training academies in Hamburg.
